My father has passed away on this day. The day we celebrate our independence because of his hard work. A rather fitting and honorable end for someone who has put so much of themselves into this country. Thomas Jefferson also died this very day. They were bitter rivals during their presidencies. However, they have become great friends over the years. I think there is something to be said about that. A comradery amongst the men that serve as president. A brotherhood of sorts. We might have our differences and should fight for what we believe in. But the amount of work and dedication that this service requires sets us apart from the rest. I hope that all the future presidents understand this.

This can’t be real. It sounds like a folk tale or one of those crazy facts that sound made up. Too bad George Washington didn’t hold out to pass away the same day. I guess he wasn’t dedicated enough.
